Healthy Banana Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
Looking for a healthy snack that’s even good to be a meal? Oatmeal cookies aren’t just for fun but can nourish our mind and body!
Basically we can put any fruit or a mixture of fruits on top and it will make a totally different thing every day. If we prefer to have them on the move we can sprinkle them with nuts instead and they are ready to go.
As oats contain no gluten naturally we can make totally gluten free cookies too. Unfortunately, though we have to pay extra price for totally gluten free oat as most of the times these are not packaged in a gluten free factory that makes the gluten intolerant suffer badly. For the rest of us who is avoiding gluten or have a mild intolerance may not worth taking the extra mile looking for gluten free oat. We can make the same delicious healthy low carb cookies out of them either way.
The best thing in these healthy banana oatmeal cookies is that if we put enough goodies in them, they serve as a perfect breakfast. Not as a low carb breakfast as having three eggs and bacon though but who could bear that seven days a week? So enjoy this oatmeal recipe or check out our another one with raisins and cocoa: Healthy Banana Oatmeal Recipe

How to make healthy banana oatmeal cookies
- Mix oat, bananas, butter, egg, milk and any optional ingredients.
- Use a spoon to place little lumps on the tray.
- Flatten lumps into cookie form with the back of the spoon.
- Slice strawberries or any other fruit then place the slices on top of each cookie. Strawberries will shrink and change color in the oven to the extent we won’t win any visual award with them.
- Put tray into the preheated 356°F / 180°C oven for 15 minutes to bake. Take the cookies out when they are golden brown.
