Egg Salad Avocado Recipe
Looking for something tasty yet quick to prepare? Egg salad avocado is as fulfilling as delicious that will nourish the body and keep our spirits high!
There are things in life that never end. In fact, nothing ends in life, except maybe our life itself. Everything else just transforms into a different state. It would be nice to know if the knowledge we have been accumulating during our life is transferred within that 21grams that leaves our Earthy shell.
No one came back to tell stories about that. Maybe because a spirit without voice cords can’t really form sounds recognizable by humans, thus every such attempts were doomed to a failure. Maybe because when souls reach the sky, bond together into stars and content only watching us from the heights.
The latter sounds like a fascinating concept, given that we were all part of a star one day. After all we Earthlings are carbon-based lifeforms which carbon originates from burnt out stars. Forming stars again would give our existence as much reason as it did for Simba returning to fight Scar.
Unfortunately, not everybody is so lucky to be able to muse about the meaning of life because life doesn’t always allow us time to live it at its fullest. Or rather our body doesn’t allow us to live, until we aren’t full.
And it seems that we aren’t just based on carbon but we like eating it too, in a form of carbohydrates and a bit of fat here and there. Of course, some protein could get in there but most of us are super happy following the old school food pyramid with tons of carbs and little something else just for fun.
It turns out that this diet saved our spices from starvation for hundreds of thousands of years. However, since we figured out how to package a half days’ worth of calories in a 3-inch chocolate bar without hunting it for a day, things got out of hand.
As always, there are a lucky few that evolution prized with genes that are adjusted to the new reality of abundance and their brain is not going berserk even when 3 different pizzas are on the table. Others are pretty good at converting all the calories into something more appealing than fat.
And there are those who know that our brain uses 20% of all the energy our body takes and try to make it burn more by playing Candy Crush day in and day out.
The bad news is that no matter how hard we play, there is no chance to burn off all the starches our brain craves when under load. It’s a catch 22. The more we make our brain work, the more carbs it desires and don’t even get us into sugar addiction here.
It sounds like the only way to reach our goal is through pain and suffering, and that’s the truth of it. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be a challenge, and no one would care about it. It’s a bit like being able to use the toilet. When we are about 3 years old everybody cheers for us when we use the potty but later in life no one seems to care to discuss our achievements.
So, it seems that we only appreciate things that come from bodily pain and suffering with the one exception if it comes from our wit. Our society values intellect above any other virtues we can muster in this world.
Using our brain is how we bond with other human beings, how to persuade our boss to pay us more than the rest of the pack, find a way to get paid without a boss or save time to play mindless videogames.
Actually, finding easy ways to survive is what our brains the best at, so using it for similar tasks like saving time preparing lunch is the most suitable for. It may sound like a waste of resource using brains that were capable of putting humans onto the moon cooking up meals, but we all have a place in this world.
We, in the kitchen, are the ones who feed the fire of the human race. Our responsibility to do it effectively lies heavy as a log of oak on us. Feeding a bonfire when only a trickle needed is as unnecessary as gulping down a can of soda after a supersize burger and fries, but who can stop us when we are mesmerized by the light.
This is why we need to plan ahead and have a plan B for unforeseen circumstances that could be executed if all else fail. Something that is easy and quick to prepare, yet it doesn’t let us down in any way, something similar like egg salads and avocados do.
Combining them in one easy and quick dish will not only properly nourish the faltering body but with some herbs and half secret ingredients keeps the soul of humanity in happiness till it reaches the stars.

How to make Egg salad avocado:
- Place the eggs into water and bring the water to boil on high heat. When the water starts to boil reduce the heat and continue to cook the eggs until the inside is completely hardened. The whole process shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes. If the eggs are fresh add a half teaspoon of baking soda to the water. It will help taking the shell off the eggs.
- While the eggs are cooking prepare the rest of the ingredients like the onion if used and the avocados.
- If mayonnaise is used and in doubt how to make it at home, find detailed instructions at our Low carb condiments section.
- Cool the eggs and peel them. If we are lucky then we can peel the eggs quickly by shaking them in the pot with some cold water and the lid on.
- Cut the eggs up into 6 to 12 pieces and place them into a bowl.
- Add the rest of the ingredients in then fold everything carefully together.
Enjoy!
