Keto Tortilla Chips Recipe

Is the first love eternal or can we learn to live a happy life without it? Let’s make keto tortilla chips and find it out!

Keto tortilla chips recipe - SunCakeMomFalling in love is the greatest feelings humans can experience without having to administer some sort of mind-altering substances.

What is love?

We can do great many things for our love of life even wage wars, given that Troy is based on a true story, of course. But even if a stolen girlfriend wasn’t enough for whole countries to get at each other’s throats, some random dudes and chicks are more than happy to vent their frustration on the new significant other of their exes.

After all, there is no light without darkness and no love without something else on the other side of the spectrum that keeps the balance of life in check. When we open the door of our feelings with all the good, there’s some less than good must come in too.

What is pain?

Pain is what protects us from doing stupid things with ourselves, be those physical or emotional. Without our natural protective system, we would just keep doing whatever we do, even if it causes more harm that we are able to bear.

When it comes to simple things like a hot tea or sharp knife, we can pretty quickly pick up the clues about what not to do to that causes us harm (or just being lucky, judging by the cutting techniques of some) but when it comes to more complicated matters where feelings and unconscious actions are involved, our protecting mechanism starting to lose its edge.

What is addiction?

We can get used to and addicted to some pretty bad, harmful habits incredibly quickly if it comes with any reward experience but unfortunately, we can’t get rid of them half as fast.

In fact, once we pick up a habit, that can happen as quick as doing it once, it never goes away much like cycling. This is just how our brain saves time and energy, not thinking about similar situations every time we encounter them.

The general logic behind it is simple, if it worked once and we are still alive, it will work again too. Unfortunately, this way of thinking does not evaluate the long-term effects or possibilities of changing environment, as it was optimized for short term survival.

Thinking long term is the task for our neocortex, similarly as convincing our intuitive brain to let things go, or if that’s not possible, just find other things to care about.

Break ups are a tough business and there are only two methods exist to permanently rid ourselves of the unease associated with them. One is to unroot its subject from our life completely, and if that’s not possible then substitute them with something else that may not look manageable at first, but much better for our long-term well-being.

What are tortilla chips?

Falling in love with tortilla chips can be such and unhealthy relationship. Created in the 1940s to make use of misshaped, rejected tortillas, tortilla chips became quite a thing during the years establishing their own domain across the Tex-Mex scene of the states.

Outside of the US, tortilla chips aren’t that popular as other snacks like potato chips but still available in many flavors and dips.

Although created in the US, the tortilla chips soon found its way back to the Mexican cuisine and various dishes were created with it, like the most famous Nachos that is corn tortilla chips with melted cheese and an occasional topping.

What are keto tortilla chips?

For those who are on gluten free diets, the popularity of corn products is a true blessing, but for those who try their feet in the low carb world, corn tortillas aren’t much help, due to their similarly high carbs content compared to other snacks.

Luckily, we can make tortillas low carb or at least bake triangle shaped dough, they will look just like tortillas, and we can dip them into our favorite sauce just like real tortillas.

A slight disadvantage of keto tortilla chips is, that they don’t really crack that well as normal tortilla chips, except if they are overbaked. But hey, not all that is gold glitters either, especially not the ones what are good for us.
