Keto Garlic Bread Recipe

Could garlic reach such heights if it wasn’t so effective against vampires? Life for many is unimaginable without garlic bread and luckily we don’t have to.

Human imagination is endlessly creative. With so little of actual knowledge, we are capable of jumping to conclusions that determines life and death, sometimes for centuries.

Where does history of the garlic start?

As in every story, there is always a grain of truth deeply embedded under countless layers of fears and false hopes. Our lack of understanding paired with the never quenching desire for knowledge lead us through countless years, all the same.

It’s true that we have taken many disastrous turns, but the great creator of life doesn’t do much better either, considering we have been tasked to rule upon creatures like the platypus too.

Sure enough, having a little bit of fun with genetics may not sound so cruel as throwing tied up witches into a river to see if they float or not, but apparently there are some who find both very entertaining.

Who took garlic to the storybooks?

Unfortunately though, humans were forced to live along creatures that were much more elusive than witches. Mainly because these creatures lived deep in the forest in the human imagination and never personally attained to any business by themselves but only through storytellers.

The viciousness of such creatures was dependent on the character of the storytellers while their deeds were governed by the goals of the narrators.

The good thing about imagined threats though that they can be stopped by imaginative means, given that the solution has at least as much reality in it that has the story.

Does garlic have fake news?

The funny thing though that our reality is heavily influenced by our own experiences and by of those who we trust. If we receive information about the contrary what we have think is true, we simply reject that information.

Of course, it makes sense to reject information that according to our experiences is not valid, but unfortunately we aren’t always take the right conclusions from our actions which are the hotbed of misconceptions.

How to establish the truth about garlic?

For example, we could think that our sweet love of life isn’t into us anymore because instead of cuddling up in bed before getting to sleep just plainly falls asleep. The lack of information causes us to come up with less than perfect conclusions because if we asked, he could tell us that our new hobby of bedtime bruschetta is what keeps him from cuddling up with us.

If we haven’t got the possibility to establish communication channels to help us coming to the right conclusions, we have to come up with reliable methods to measure the success or failure of our observations.

Otherwise our results will be based on false assumptions with sometimes irreversible consequences like it did with the odor of garlic.

How does the smell of garlic work?

Upon injuries garlic tries to repair itself and its cells start to produce a special sulfur substance. This is a kind of self-protecting mechanism that repels some of the herbivorous animals that would otherwise happily munch on it.

Fate it seems is not without a sense of irony. The very thing that helped protecting the garlic through thousands of years is the same thing humans find pleasure in.

At least only when eating it. Unfortunately, the human body can’t really metabolize the sulfur in garlic and simply excretes it through the blood stream to the lungs and through to skin which then breathed out or simply evaporated off from our skin by our otherwise odorless sweat.

How did garlic get into pop culture?

This garlic breath or sweat that is so undesirable for fellow human beings made some come to the conclusion that consuming garlic will help us repel one of our oldest and most annoying enemies the mosquitoes.

It’s not hard to see how some storytellers found it easy, simply using this widely believed misconception when innocent souls were searching for the silver bullets against blood thirsty enemies like vampires or werewolves.

Has garlic got a new start?

It seems though that the light of breaking down reached  into a new era where scientific evidence failed to come up with convincing results about the garlic mosquito repellent properties (in short: it doesn’t work) vampire stories had to change to accommodate the facts too.

Thanks to science -and the delight of interior designers- we don’t have to hang garlic onto our walls anymore nor force-feed ourselves with cloves of garlic before going out for a lovely night stroll in the summer.

Also -to the pleasure of our loved ones- science has figured a way to cope with some of the odor that comes from enjoying garlic bread. It seems that sipping a glass of milk while munching on garlic bread frees us from the need of chewing gum for a day.Keto garlic bread recipe - SunCakeMom
