Chili Chicken Recipe
Are we what we remember or are we who we are remembered of? Let’s make some chili chicken that is worth being remembered of!
Memories are all that we are. Being ourselves means nothing else but our memories that we collect and carry through our life.
Who are we?
If our memories are wiped off by a series of unfortunate events, we are wiped out of existence, much like when we create a virtual suicide when we delete our Facebook profile.
All the events, photos, likes and dislikes go back to zero, like they never existed, given, of course, that we choose to delete our profile completely. Luckily, we can simply pretend to delete our virtual existence and try our feet in digital hermitage for a while.
Knowing that the life that we have known of, exists somewhere out there, but we aren’t part of it anymore, can be as liberating experience as a nerve wrecking event.
How virtual are we?
Given a new chance at life with the experience of the old one is like creating a brand-new social media profile. We can merge them together or start anew, using all our past experiences to make our new possibility a much better version of our old one.
Much like we do when we choose to overhaul our life completely and dive deep into the change of our lifestyle. We can keep the best bits and discard the undesirable ones.
Mistakes are necessary part of the learning process otherwise there is no learning, no growing takes place with the repetition of the already accumulated knowledge. While unfortunately, there is such thing as too big with body size, accumulating knowledge should never be enough.
When we are given a chance to start anew, such knowledge can be incredibly useful to create a better version of our life than ever before, much like it happens with recipes that we have never cooked before.
What is chili chicken?
Chili chicken can be a tricky dish if we are in search of a dish, we ate at a restaurant or at a party where the origin of the food couldn’t be discussed for various reasons.
At first try, chili chicken isn’t really a too complicated dish because it’s nothing else but chili and chicken. When we dig deeper into the nuances of the recipes though, there is an unfathomable bottomless pit filled with various methods, spices and herbs that all can be used to prepare the dish.
Although there is a myriad of options to choose out of, at the bottom of all, there is chili and chicken as the main defining ingredients of the dish. How we reach to it, is a different matter though.
How to prepare chili chicken?
We have two popular and simple methods that can be used to enjoy the dish, yet not barring the way from further possibilities.
Breading the chicken before immersing it in the chili sauce is probably the most popular method due to the popularity of refined grains but if we are on a diet or plan to have some other carbs with our protein intake, it’s not a necessary step at all.
Using our favorite cooking method to prepare the chicken is all that needed before bathing it in the chili sauce to create a dish, worthy of songs and unforgettable memories. If we are thoughtful enough, we can prepare more sauce than we need so we can use it with other meat, creating chili beef or pork or even fish.
