Healthy Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

This super simple strawberry smoothie with banana and yogurt is an easy, still healthy option for breakfast or afternoon snack.

 

One of the best things about spring that instead of frozen fruits there are fresh seasonal ones. So this is the time when we can have some sort of smoothie every day.

With the right blend of ingredients, a smoothie can be a nutritional powerhouse—full of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals.

This simple smoothie out of fresh strawberries is definitely on the favorite drinks list. So how to make a healthy strawberry smoothie? We only need a blender and some fruits:

 Ingredients

  • 4 oz / 100g Strawberries
  • 4 oz / 100g Plain yogurt or Greek yogurt or Cottage cheese
  • 1 cup / 250ml Milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon Chia seed (optional)
  • 1 medium Banana (optional)

How to make Healthy Strawberry Smoothie

  1. Place strawberries, sliced up banana, yogurt, milk and chia seed into the blender.
  2. Cover and blend on high speed for about half a minute until smooth.
  3. Pour into glasses and serve with straws.
