Instructions
Beginner bun
Carefully peel the leaves off from the lettuce. Optionally cut out the wide stem at the bottom of the leaves. Also slice the cheese, onion and tomato.
Make 4 patties from the ground meat. Add salt and ground pepper then sear the patties with our favorite cooking method.
Place two lettuce leaves on top of each other in angle then spread mustard and / or our favorite sauce on them.
Place the meat on top of the sauce then build the burger up with cheese, onion and tomato.
Add more sauce on top then fold the lettuce leaves over the burger and each other.
It's ready to be served!
Burger bun - Advanced
Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C and pour almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, salt into a big bowl.
Warm the water and mix in the vinegar.
With a hand mixer gradually mix the water with the dry ingredients.
Mix in the egg whites as well.
Shape the burger buns then sprinkle sesame seeds on top!
Place the formed burger buns into the pre-heated oven for 60 – 70 minutes.
The burger buns are ready when slight golden brown color starts to appear on some of them and by tapping them results a hollow sound and somewhat firm crust.
