Yogurt Parfait Recipe
Parfait is such a delight that we can't only enjoy them as a dessert. Whip up a healthy, delicious, yet hassle free yogurt parfait any time of the day.
Gluten free, Keto, Low carb recipe, Sugar free recipe
/ 250ml Greek or plain yogurt
/ 50g toasted mixed nuts and seeds of choice:
Agave syrup or sweetener of choice
/ 50g Raspberries or other berries of choice
fresh or frozen
Put the nuts of your choice into a food processor and chop it to desired sized chunks. Mind not to overdo it as that would result in some rough nut flour that not necessarily our goal here.
Mix sweetener of choice and vanilla extract with the chopped nuts for a bit more of excitement in flavor. It's an optional step that can be completely left out.
Roast the chunks of nuts in a frying pan on medium heat while stirring occasionally until the whole batch gets a throughout golden brown color.
Take it off the heat and let it cool down. Optionally, make a bigger batch in the oven essentially creating keto granola.
Make the layers with yogurt, berries of choice and the roasted nuts.
If the layers aren't of paramount importance then natural yogurt can be used as well.
