Place all the ingredients into a big enough bowl. If we have 15 extra minutes then caramelize the onions before mixing them with the meat. It’s not crucial but it is worth to do.
Mix the ingredients together.
Form balls out of the meat and spice mixture. Smaller are tastier bigger are easier. Find the golden way around Ø1½" / Ø3.5cm.
Heat oil in a pan deep fryer or preheat the oven to 350° / 180°.
Place the balls into the oil or the oven and take them out when golden brown. Frying meatballs in oil will get them ready in about 10 minutes while in the oven it takes about 50 min.
