Ingredients
Dough:
  • 0.5 oz / 15g Fresh yeast
  • 1/2 cup / 100ml Lukewarm milk or water
  • 5 cup / 600g Flour
  • 10 tablespoon / 150g Butter
  • 4 oz / 125g Plain yogurt
  • 2 eggs
Filling:
  • 2 oz / 50g Grated cheese Gouda, Edam
Topping:
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Sprinkle and stir the yeast into the lukewarm milk or water in a cup. Set it aside and let rest. If it gets foamy don't worry it's completely normal.
  2. Whilst we are waiting, measure and put the flour, butter, yogurt and eggs in a large bowl. When it's ready, pour in yeast mixture too. Make the dough.
  3. After we finished with kneading it, we don't need to wait for it to raise.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 balls, set them somewhere warm cover 3 and we can start working with the fourth straight away.
  5. Put the ball in the middle of the desk and roll it flat into a shape of a circle.
  6. Cut it into 8 equal pieces like a pizza.
  7. Put cheese on top each piece then roll them up and bend them into a crescent shape. Then put them on the tray.
