  • 10 oz / 300g Almonds coarsely ground
  • 1 Orange zest
  • 3 tablespoon / 50g Butter
  • ½ cup / 100ml Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Low carb sweetener
  • 5 oz / 150g Chocolate melted
  1. Grind half of the almonds finely and the other half coarsely.
  2. Put butter and cream in a saucepan to heat it up with the vanilla extract and sweetener.
  3. Pour almond and orange zest and mix them with the other ingredients in the saucepan on low heat.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C.
  5. Prepare tray with baking paper.
  6. With a spoon put walnut size balls on the tray.
  7. Flatten them with a fork.
  8. Put the tray with the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10 - 15 minutes (depending on the oven).
  9. Take them out as soon as it starts to get a golden brown color.
  10. Place cookies on a cooling rack to cool down, help with a sharp flat tool to put cookies from the tray to the cooling rack.
  11. Melt chocolate.
  12. Pour chocolate on top of the cookies.
  13. Keep them in a cool place until chocolate becomes solid again.
