Naturally Refreshing Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Recipe

Fancy some healthy and delicious refreshment for the hot summer days? Don’t look further than this sugar free lemonade!

It’s unbelievable how easy is to make something fresh and delicious from a handful of fruits. There is no wonder why there are companies dedicated to sell us bottled flavored drinks day in and day out. At first sight it may rather strange to see floating pieces of fruits in a jug but it only bothers you until first encounter it your mouth. After that you only want them in your glass. It’s like the cherry on top of the ice cream. It makes it perfect.

Berries are one of the lowest sugar content fruits thus make them perfect for flavoring cold summer drinks. They doesn’t sweeten the water but flavoring it only. If you fancy to try out some really zesty stuff head over the sugar free lemonade with orange and let your taste buds explore the new terrain!

Ingredients:

  • Two handfuls of berries of your preference (raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, red currant, cherry)
  • A slice of lemon
  • 2 mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

How to make:

  1. Use fresh or frozen mixture of berries of your choice. If you use fresh fruit make sure they are clean.
  2. Put two handfuls of berries and the lemon into a big jug.
  3. Use two leaves of mint. Mint is an essential ingredient of any summer drink. It makes a twist and surely plays with your taste buds. Crush the leaves before you put them into the jug.
  4. Pour water into the jug and leave it for about 20 minutes or half an hour in the fridge. Let all the berries and mint leaves soak well.
