Low Carb Chocolate Chips Cookies

These sugar free chocolate chip cookies have been voted as favorite by kids in the SunCakeMom Summer Baking Camp. Why would you want to buy them in the shop when you can make them in your own kitchen? Anytime you like without all the preservatives and artificial ingredients.
Following the classic recipe you won’t need special skills or special ingredients.

Kitchen utensils:

  • Medium size mixing bowl
  • Tray
  • Baking paper
  • Wooden spoon
  • 2 tablespoons
  • Fork
  • Scale

Ingredients:

  • 2⅔ cup / 300g Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 Egg (medium)
  • 7 tablespoon / 100g Butter
  • 3 tablespoon Honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup / 100ml Milk
  • 4 oz / 100 g Chocolate chip

How to make:

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC / 356°F
  2. Prepare tray by putting baking paper into it.
  3. Measure flour and pour it into the mixing bowl.
  4. Mix baking powder into the bowl.
  5. Measure and dice butter. If it’s too hard, put it into the microwave oven for 10-15 seconds 400 W to make it softer.
  6. Add egg, butter, honey and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix all of it together, slowly add the milk into the mixture.Low-carb-chocolate-chips-cookies-process-8-SunCakeMom Dough it until you get an even mixture. To do this step, you can use a wooden spoon or even your hand.

  8. Use tablespoons or your hand to make piles of cookie dough on the tray. One tablespoon per cookie.Low-carb-chocolate-chips-cookies-process-3-SunCakeMom
  9. Fill the tray with the cookies and flatten them with a fork. In case you have pieces of chocolate left you can put them on top of the cookies now.Low-carb-chocolate-chips-cookies-process-6-SunCakeMom
  10. Put the tray into the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.
