Chocolate chips cookies recipe to light up your day. Simple and delicious.

 

Chocolate chips cookies have been voted as favorite by kids in my summer baking class. It could easily made by kids and grown-ups. Why would you want to buy them in the shop when you can make them in your own kitchen? Anytime you like.
Chocolate chips cookies are a good option as a snack too. Pop some in your lunchbox to eat them whenever you feel like.
Following the basic recipe you won’t need special skills or special ingredients. Let’s see want exactly you’ll need.

Kitchen utensils:

Medium size mixing bowl
Tray
Baking paper
Wooden spoon
2 tablespoons
Fork
Scale

Ingredients:

  • 300 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 medium size egg
  • A tablespoon baking powder
  • Vanilla extract
  • Chocolate chips

How to make:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 ºC / 356 °F
  2. Prepare tray by putting baking paper into it.
  3. Measure flour and pour it into the mixing bowl.
  4. Mix dry ingredients, baking powder, sugar and the flour in the bowl.
  5. Measure and dice butter. If it’s too hard, put it into the microwave oven for 10-15 seconds 400 W to make it softer.
  6. Add egg, butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix all of it together, slowly add the milk into the mixture. Dough it until you get an even mixture. To do this step, you can use a wooden spoon or your fingers.
  7. Pour some chocolate chips into the mixture.
  8. Use tablespoons to make piles of cookie dough on the tray. One tablespoon per cookie.
  9. Fill the tray with the cookies.
  10. Put the tray into the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.

Eat delicious chocolate chips cookies as a snack or with your coffee or tea.
